Cascading style sheets let you specify document formatting in one place. A style sheet makes it easy to change formatting of multiple instances of a document object by changing one thing. In this example file, the style information is placed in the header of the document. In the next example the style information is placed in a separate file, which makes it easy to change the formatting of multiple files.

This page uses the following style, which is contained in the header section of the HTML file.
<STYLE TYPE="text/css">
BODY { color: #000000; background: #ffffe8; margin-left: 3%; margin-right: 3%; }
H1 { text-align: center; color: #880000; }
H2 { text-align: center; }
H3 { text-align: left; }
